Excelente Support

Excelente is an AI agent for Microsoft Excel: it reads your workbook, plans, and writes back. Every write goes through your approval, and every change is reversible with one-click undo. Bring any model on OpenRouter with your own API key, extend the agent with Open Agent Skills, and put it to work on financial models, audits, and messy data.

Getting started

The three pages that get you working:

Install Excelente from Microsoft Marketplace, or from Home → Add-ins inside Excel.
Connect a model. Paste in your own OpenRouter key, or connect a CRE Agents or A.CRE Intelligence Hub membership and use the included model.
Quickstart, a first task from prompt to approved write to verified build.

Common questions

The task pane is blank or won't load. Close and reopen the pane; if it persists, remove and re-insert the add-in. Excel for Windows, Excel for Mac, and Excel on the web on Microsoft 365 are supported (ExcelApi 1.9+).

A model call failed. Check the key in Settings is valid and your OpenRouter account has credit, or switch to a 🆓 free-tier model.

A write did something I didn't want. Click Undo in the task pane. Every write Excelente makes through its own tools is reversible. Declining an approval card always leaves the workbook untouched.
